Elisabeth Citrom and Tobias Rawet are Swedish Holocaust survivors. They have participated in interviews where they answered around 1,000 questions each. In the interviews they tell you about their lives before, during and after the Holocaust. Their stories and answers have become part of the interactive biographies Dimensions in Testimony. Here on our website, you can ask Elisabeth and Tobias questions in Swedish.

Elisabeth and Tobias are Swedish survivors and you can therefore only ask them questions in Swedish. If you would like to speak to a survivor in English, you can visit the USC Shoah Foundation website, where they have several testimonies in English.

Here you can read about Elisabeth's and Tobias' life stories. Choose a person below.

Dimensions in Testimony

The installation Dimensions in Testimony makes it possible for you to ask Elisabeth and Tobias questions. Through advanced video technology, your questions and their answers are matched. This means that Elisabeth and Tobias can give you answers immediately, just like in a conversation.

The documentation method is developed by the organization USC Shoah Foundation. The Swedish interviews were done in collaboration with Jewish Culture in Sweden.
