The Giants of Auschwitz (Giganterna i Auschwitz) is directed by Debbie Brukman and is based on the book of the same name by Eilat Negev and Yehuda Koren.

In the film, we follow the fate of the Ovitz family during the Holocaust. The Ovitz family was a Jewish family where seven of the ten children were of short stature. The family came from Romania and made a living as artists. In 1944, they were deported to Auschwitz where they were subjected to medical experiments by the infamous doctor Josef Mengele. Against all odds, nine of the ten Ovitz siblings survived the Holocaust.
