Digital exhibitionSpeaking Memories
Emerich Roth
Born on August 28, 1924 in Sevlus, Tzechoslovakia (today Vynohradiv, Ukraine). Died January 22, 2022, Stockholm.
I survived Auschwitz and four other concentration camps.

One can not help everyone, but can help someone in the area close to him. This is where we need to start. If our neighbors and many others had reacted and protested, which was possible, the Holocaust couldn’t have happened. In other words, it is passivity and indefference that are humanity’s greatest enemy.
