Hédi Fried

Born on June 15, 1924 in Sighet, Transylvania (Romania). Died November 19, 2022, Stockholm.

The persecution of Jews began in 1940 with the Hungarian occupation by Nazi Germany followed by deportation to Auschwitz. I was in three labour camps and then in Bergen-Belsen until the liberation.
