Gerhard Rundberg E

Gerhard Rundberg was born in 1903 and worked as a physician specialising in hygiene. During the rescue operation with the White Buses, Gerhard served as a doctor and chief delegate. He took part in several journeys and worked on delousing and vaccinating the Scandinavian prisoners who were rescued. On 23 June, Rundberg submitted a report to the Swedish Red Cross in which he described, among other things, the work carried out in the camp. The report later formed the basis for the book Report from Neuengamme, which was published the same year. Here you can follow his journeys.
