Romani

Here you will find the exhibition's themes translated into five varieties of Romani. In Sweden, several different Romani groups and dialects are represented. The most common dialects in Sweden are Lovari, Arli, and Kalderash. A dialect that has been spoken in Sweden for a long time is Kaléromska, also known as Finnish Romani. Another Romani-speaking group that has existed in Sweden for a very long time is the Travellers. The variety they speak is called Swedish Romani or Resanderomani.
