Artefacts from Holocaust survivors who came to Sweden

The artefacts exhibited by the Swedish Holocaust Museum were a Mother’s Day card, a small suitcase, two identity cards stamped with the letter J, a striped prison jacket and an icon.

My Grandmother Hédi Fried

On display from May 20 to August 23, 2026

The exhibition is about Sanna's relationship and dealing with the fact that her grandmother Hédi Fried was a Holocaust survivor and came to Sweden after the liberation with the UNRRA transports (The White Boats). Hédi had a special impact on Sanna's life and inspired Sanna to paint at an early age. Sanna has painted her grandmother in nine different works.

The exhibition was on display during the summer of 2026.
