Guided tour: Sweden and the Holocaust

Welcome to join an guided tour in English of the museum and the exhibition In Black and White. During the tour, we will discuss Sweden's role during the Holocaust and unique position as a neutral nation during the war. The tour is included in the entrance fee.

The exhibition In Black and White is about the Swedish press during the Holocaust. In this exhibition, you’ll learn more about the news coverage, delve into the Swedish media landscape and Sweden’s relationship with Nazi Germany.

Practical information

  • Included in admission (90 SEK). The tour starts at the entrance desk.
  • Swedish Holocaust Museum, Torsgatan 19, Stockholm, floor 5.
  • Jackets and bags are not permitted inside the museum. You must hang up your jacket and lock your bag in the lockers located in the entrance hall. Bags must not be left unattended in the museum.
  • The tour is held in English and takes about 30 minutes.

In Black and White

The exhibition In Black and White explores Swedish media and the Holocaust – what was written and broadcasted, but also what was erased or edited out. Here, you can also learn more about the spirit of the times, the Swedish media landscape, and the presence of antisemitism.
