Sveriges museum om Förintelsen välkomnar dig, i samarbete med North European Centre for Research on Antisemitism and the Holocaust (NORAH) vid Lunds universitet, till ett seminarium online. Onsdagen den 5 mars 2025 klockan 16 möter vi historieprofessor Wendy Lower från Claremont McKenna College, nu gästprofessor vid Lunds universitet. Hennes föredrag heter "Gender and the Holocaust: Perpetrators, Victims, Witnesses." Seminariet ingå i NORAHs seminarieserie om antisemitism och förintelsestudier.

Professor Wendy Lower är John K. Roth professor i historia och George R. Roberts Fellow vid Claremont McKenna College I USA. Hon är författare till boken Hitler's Furies: German Women in the Nazi Killing Fields. Andra böcker av henne är: The Diary of Samuel Golfard and the Holocaust in Eastern Galicia, Lanham MD: Altamira/Rowman and Littlefield och USHMM, 2011, The Shoah in Ukraine: History, Testimony, Memorialization, Bloomington: Indiana University Press, 2008 (red. med Ray Brandon) och Nazi Empire-Building and the Holocaust in Ukraine, Chapel Hill: University of North Carolina Press and USHMM, 2005.

The Swedish Holocaust Museum, in collaboration with the North European Center for Research on Antisemitism and the Holocaust (NORAH) at Lund University, welcomes you to the next NORAH Seminar on Antisemitism and Holocaust Studies on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 16:00 with Visiting Professor Wendy Lower, John K. Roth Professor of History and George R. Roberts Fellow, Claremont McKenna College (California). Her talk is titled “Gender and the Holocaust: Perpetrators, Victims, Witnesses.”

Professor Wendy Lower is the John K. Roth Professor of History and George R. Roberts Fellow at Claremont McKenna College. She is the author of Hitler’s Furies: German Women in the Nazi Killing Fields, a 2013 finalist for the National Book Award. A few of her other books are The Diary of Samuel Golfard and the Holocaust in Eastern Galicia, Lanham MD: Altamira/Rowman and Littlefield and USHMM, 2011, The Shoah in Ukraine: History, Testimony, Memorialization, Bloomington: Indiana University Press, 2008 (co-edited with Ray Brandon) and Nazi Empire-Building and the Holocaust in Ukraine, Chapel Hill: University of North Carolina Press and USHMM, 2005.
